This course is for anyone at an inflection point in work and/or life more generally.
Are you trying to figure out your next steps? Do you want to make a change in your personal or professional life, but wonder where to begin? Do you feel like life could be better, but you’re not sure how? Are you thinking of starting a new business or project? Do you want to come up with fresh, new ideas for your life and career? And then develop a concrete plan for how to get started quickly?
This workshop gives you the space, time and expert guidance to step out of day-to-day reactive mode, press pause, and examine your big picture and goals. It’s an intense journey of self-discovery that combines practical insights and concrete tools with a powerful reflection on your unique habits, beliefs, and processes.
Drawing on the latest research on creativity, career innovation and the science of well-being, we’ll identify your unique skills, strengths, and values. We’ll assess what is going well in your life and where you want to make changes. You will gain the tools you need to identify what might be holding you back, generate ideas that excite you, and move into action quickly and with purpose.
We will deal with vital questions, such as:
What do you value?
What are your strengths?
What do you want to grow into?
What does work-life balance look like for you?
How can you find and align with your purpose?
What mindset and actions will help you succeed in the dynamic and unpredictable future modern economy?
What can you concretely do to test your ideas and get moving forward quickly?
Over the course of this workshop, you will:
Figure out where you are (strengths and skills), what drives you (values and purpose) and how you can get better at using these two “points of orientation” to chart a course for your life and career.
Apply Design Thinking, Cognitive Behavioural Psychology, Narrative Psychology, and innovation techniques to come up with multiple creative possibilities for your future. You will draft at least three plans for the next five years.
Get comfortable brainstorming and quickly testing ideas.
Cultivate a mindset that will help you meet your definition of success, build resilience and cultivate well-being.
Get better at making decisions when it comes to your life and career.
Break out of your habitual (and sometimes limiting) ways of thinking and open up space for new solutions and new perspectives.
